Oregon Territory, Established in 1848, originally covering present day Idaho and Washington States along with some parts of Montana and Wyoming.
Baker County was created in 1862 from a portion of Wasco Co. In 1887, a portion of Baker was used to create Malheur County, the largest county in Oregon.
