The Native American Tribes of Idaho include the following:

Nez Perce Indians at Weippe Prairie
Bannock Indians
Piegan Indians
Grosventre Indians
Kootenai Tribe
Snake River Nation
Coeur d'Alene Indians


In 1873 The Coeur d'Alene Indian Reservationwas set aside by President Grant for the Coeur d'Alene and Spokane Indians. In 1875 The Lemhi Indian Reservation was set aside by President Ulysses S. Grant for Shoshonis, Bannocks, and Tukuarikas. In 1877 The Duck Valley Indian Reservation was set aside by President Hayes for the Shoshonis and Paiutes. Idaho also has Reservations at Fort Hall and Nez Perce but a seperate location for the Kootenai Tribe
